Key Responsibilities: Enhance the Customer Experience: Welcome every customer with a friendly attitude, assess their needs, and provide tailored service. Promote the DSW Loyalty program during interactions and enroll new members. Address product inquiries and assist with transactions, both in-store and digital. Maintain a Positive Shopping Environment: Ensure cleanliness and safety by managing housekeeping tasks including trash removal, shoe organization, and maintaining public areas. Handle freight efficiently and arrange merchandise on the sales floor according to DSW standards. Leverage In-Store and Digital Services: Fulfill customer orders, including locating, inspecting, and packaging products for pick-up/delivery. Utilize company technology to assist customers in finding product availability. Prioritize Customer Needs: Process transactions accurately, providing correct change, and following DSW policies. Collaborate with the CEL for escalated customer service situations. Adhere to asset protection policies to safeguard company assets. Foster a Collaborative Atmosphere: Engage in team meetings and embrace ongoing training opportunities. Be receptive to coaching and promote teamwork and inclusivity. Required Skills: Flexible availability to meet business needs. Professional demeanor with a focus on customer service. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable using technology, including register systems and mobile devices. Able to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Frequent bending and physical movement is required. Experience: Previous retail experience is not required.
