Position Overview As a Part-Time Shoe Retail Associate, you will report directly to the Store Manager and/or Customer Experience Leader (CEL). Your primary role will be to enhance the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service and support. Core Responsibilities: Deliver Outstanding Customer Service: Greet each customer warmly, assess their needs, and provide personalized shopping assistance. Promote DSW Loyalty: Educate customers about our loyalty program and help them become members. Handle Transactions: Process in-store sales and digital orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain the Store Environment: Keep the store clean, organized, and safe by performing regular housekeeping duties. Receive Merchandise: Aid in receiving and presenting new stock on the sales floor according to DSW standards. Utilize Technology: Use necessary tools for stock checks and online orders to enhance customer service. Prioritize Customer Focus: Follow company policies for transactions and asset protection, ensuring an optimal customer experience. Team Engagement: Attend daily meetings, participate in training, and collaborate with colleagues to support an inclusive workplace. Required Skills: Flexible availability to meet business needs. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Comfortable with technology, including register systems and mobile devices. Ability to be on your feet for up to 100% of your shift. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that require bending and kneeling. Experience: No prior retail experience is necessary—just a passion for shoes and excellent service! The estimated pay for this role ranges from $19.10 to $20.10 per hour, based on various factors including experience and location. Additional benefits may apply depending on your role.
