WHAT YOU'LL DO Create an exceptional shopping environment that encourages customers to return through your impressive product knowledge and customer service skills. Step up when needed; provide leadership and support on the sales floor when the Store Manager is occupied. Take responsibility with store opening and closing procedures as necessary. Process sales transactions at the register, leveraging your fandom knowledge to enhance sales and promote services like BOPIS and curbside pickup. You’ll also close out the register and communicate any discrepancies to your Store Manager. Understand the store sales plan, sales goals, and key performance indicators to drive success. Assist with visual merchandising, including store layouts, wall displays, and merchandise arrangements. Share your insights on current fashion and music trends with management and HQ partners. Work alongside Store Management to maintain a secure environment and address any theft or safety concerns. Keep our stock room organized and ensure the store remains tidy and welcoming. Help build and maintain a collaborative and enthusiastic team that embodies the spirit of our store. Perform other tasks as assigned by your Store Leader. WHAT YOU'LL NEED At least 1 year of retail experience; a love for music and pop culture is a must! Strong skills in communication, time management, professionalism, operations, and team development. A high school diploma or GED equivalent. The physical ability to navigate the store, utilize store equipment, and lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Competitive pay from $15.50 to $17.85 per hour, based on factors like education, location, relevant experience, and meeting job requirements.
