Are you a passionate music and pop culture enthusiast? Join us as a Part-Time Assistant Store Manager, where you'll play a key role in enhancing our customers' shopping experience. You'll collaborate with the store leadership team to ensure our fellow fans have access to their favorite merchandise. Your fandom knowledge will also be invaluable in training new team members and supporting daily retail operations to achieve sales goals. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver an exceptional shopping experience that fosters customer loyalty by showcasing your product knowledge, top-notch customer service skills, and enthusiasm for pop culture. Assist with store operations by stepping in to perform sales floor duties and supporting the management team as necessary. Help open and close the store efficiently, ensuring smooth running of daily operations. Operate the register and process transactions while leveraging your fandom knowledge to promote additional sales through options like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Report any shortages or overages directly to the Store Manager. Understand and actively contribute to achieving the store's sales goals, with a focus on key performance indicators like units per transaction (UPT) and average transaction value (ADT). Assist in updating planograms, which include store layout, wall displays, fixtures, and merchandising strategies. Share your insights on fashion and music trends with management and our partners at HQ. Work alongside store management to implement theft prevention strategies and ensure security measures are adhered to. Help keep stock rooms organized while maintaining a clean store environment. Foster a collaborative and enthusiastic team atmosphere to effectively run the store. Complete any other tasks as assigned by your Store Leader. QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of 1 year of retail experience; a passion for music and pop culture is a bonus! Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and operational skills, with a desire to help develop your team. A high school diploma or GED. Ability to navigate the store effectively, merchandise products using store equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds.
