As a Part-Time Assistant Store Manager Level 1, you will play a key role in creating a memorable shopping experience for our fans. You'll help support our leadership team to ensure that fellow enthusiasts can discover and enjoy the merchandise they love. WHAT YOU'LL DO Deliver an exceptional shopping experience that keeps customers coming back. Your product knowledge and enthusiasm for music and pop culture will impress them! Provide leadership support as needed by stepping in on the sales floor when the Manager is occupied. Take charge with store operations, including opening and closing the store as required. Manage the register, process sales transactions, and utilize your knowledge to promote additional sales through options like BOPIS and curbside pickup. You'll also handle register closing procedures and report any discrepancies to your Store Manager. Stay informed about store sales plans, goals, and key performance indicators including UPT and ADT. Assist with planogram updates and merchandising efforts, including store layout and wall displays. Share valuable insights about fashion and music trends with management and corporate partners. Work closely with the management team to address theft prevention and maintain shop integrity. Help ensure the store is maintained to a high standard, including keeping the stockroom organized and the sales floor tidy. Foster a passionate and collaborative team environment to run your store successfully. Perform additional tasks as assigned by your Store Leader. WHAT YOU'LL NEED At least 1 year of retail experience. A love for music and pop culture is essential! Strong communication, time management, professionalism, operational skills, and a commitment to team development. A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to navigate the store efficiently, use store equipment for merchandising, and lift boxes of merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
