In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our leadership team to ensure fellow fans can easily access their favorite merchandise. WHAT YOU'LL DO Deliver an engaging shopping experience that builds customer loyalty, utilizing your extensive product knowledge and exceptional customer service skills. Step in as needed to support your team, including covering sales floor duties and assisting the store manager. Oversee the opening and closing of the store, ensuring all security and operational procedures are properly followed. Process sales transactions at the register and leverage your fandom expertise to encourage additional sales through services like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Report any shortages or overages to the Store Manager. Contribute to store sales initiatives, focusing on key performance indicators such as Units Per Transaction (UPT) and Average Dollar Transaction (ADT). Assist with merchandising updates, including store layout, wall displays, and overall presentation of products. Keep management informed about current fashion and music trends to enhance product offerings. Collaborate with Store Management to implement theft prevention strategies and protect store assets. Maintain organized stock rooms and ensure the store remains tidy and inviting for customers. Support the cultivation of a passionate, collaborative team dedicated to running the store efficiently. Perform any additional duties assigned by your Store Leader. WHAT YOU'LL NEED A minimum of 1 year of retail experience, ideally complemented by a strong passion for music and pop culture. Excellent communication and time management skills, combined with a professionalism and drive to develop your team. A high school diploma or GED is required. The capability to navigate the store, merchandise products using approved equipment, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
