This role is vital to the success of our retail operations. As a Customer Service Representative, you will engage with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, address their inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and suggest appropriate solutions. Additionally, you will proactively resolve customer concerns to ensure maximum satisfaction while continuously staying informed about product features and maintaining the store's visual and quality standards. Qualified candidates will work at our location: 401 West International Airport Rd, Suite 1A, Anchorage, AK 99518 . This is a part-time position with a starting pay rate of $18.00/hr. This position involves interaction with customers, including minors, and access to cash and various payment methods, thus requiring a review of criminal history to safeguard the Company, its operations, and its customers. Assist customers, both in-person and via phone, to identify their needs and present suitable products and services. Foster productive trust relationships with both wholesale and retail clients. Accurately process sales transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures. Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Maintain detailed work order files and product formulas. Select appropriate products from inventory or warehouse as required. Tint and mix products to meet customer specifications. Restock shelves and arrange product displays. Ensure cleanliness of store equipment. Assist with delivery truck loading and unloading. If necessary, help with customer deliveries. Maintain organized and visually appealing areas within the store. Stay informed about product offerings and discuss options with customers. Adhere to inventory control practices. Provide suggestions for sales improvement. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. Legally authorized to work without the need for sponsorship now or in the future. Possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license. Capable of lifting and carrying materials up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation. Flexible availability, willing to work evenings and weekends as needed. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service. Experience selling paint or paint-related products. Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment. Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
