About the Role
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for leading the financial strategy and operations of the business, ensuring strong financial health and alignment with organizational objectives. This includes overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow and working capital management, and establishing robust financial controls that support accurate decision-making and compliance. The CFO will partner with the executive team to provide strategic financial insights, support capital allocation and investment decisions, and drive profitability and operational performance across functions. This role will also manage relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, lenders, and investors, and lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have extensive senior financial leadership experience, ideally within manufacturing or a similarly complex operational environment, with a strong track record of strategic planning, financial management, and performance optimization. Candidates must demonstrate deep expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and risk management, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, including the ability to influence cross-functional teams and engage effectively with executive leadership and external partners. Advanced qualifications such as a CPA or MBA and experience with ERP systems and financial compliance standards are highly desirable.
