Compliance - 50% Carefully observe customers and verify age through identification to ensure responsible service of alcohol. Refuse sales of alcohol or tobacco to underage or intoxicated individuals. Customer Excellence - 25% Provide attentive service by meeting customers' needs promptly and courteously. Warmly greet and assist customers, ensuring they feel appreciated. Offer knowledgeable product recommendations and suggestions. Operational Excellence - 25% Efficiently stock and rotate products to ensure customer selection is fresh and within date control. Manage supplies effectively to minimize waste and maintain low-cost operations. Accurately operate cashier equipment and handle various forms of payment while ensuring correct change. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including reporting any safety hazards or faulty equipment. You may also be assigned other related duties as necessary. Required Education High School diploma or GED is required. Preferred Education High School diploma or GED is preferred. Language Requirements Fluency in English and/or Spanish is an asset. Relevant Experience 0 - 3 years of experience is preferred, with no supervisory experience required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required Must be at least 21 years of age. TIPS certification is required before starting the position. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, with a focus on following instructions accurately. Authorization to work in the United States is mandatory, along with successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check. Adherence to all company policies and procedures is required, as well as a high standard of integrity and reliability. Basic computer skills are necessary for online training participation.
