SCHEDULE: Part Time; Availability Required on Weekdays, Weekends, and Holidays

JOB PURPOSE:

The Guest Service Associate/Barista (Retail/Food & Beverage) is a hybrid position responsible for delivering outstanding guest service in both the boutique retail shop and its food & beverage outlet. You will assist guests with retail purchases, prepare and serve beverages and grab-and-go food items, manage transactions, and help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Guest Service & Engagement

• Greet every guest with warmth and professionalism - exceeding expectations of every guest
• Understand and anticipate guest needs to provide personalized recommendations
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and positively to ensure a memorable experience

Retail Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth knowledge of boutique merchandise including styles, materials, and special promotions
• Promote products and close sales effectively
• Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing retail space
• Assist with inventory management, stock counts, and product displays

Food & Beverage Responsibilities

• Take and prepare orders for specialty coffee drinks, smoothies, teas, juices, and light food items
• Follow established recipes and presentation standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food prep areas and equipment
• Restock inventory and monitor expiration dates to ensure food safety

Point of Sale (POS) Operations

• Accurately process purchases and handle returns using POS system
• Collect and reconcile payments including cash, credit, and debit transactions

Teamwork

• Work collaboratively as a teammate who works both the retail floor and food & beverage area to achieve service and sales goals
• Support resort-wide events and cross-functional initiatives as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous customer service experience in retail and food & beverage preferred
• Familiarity with coffee drinks, smoothies, or basic food prep a plus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and cash-handling proficiency
• Must be at least 16 years old

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Stand, walk, and move for extended periods
• Lift up to 15 lbs. as needed
• Perform repetitive motions and reach overhead or below waist level
