We are on the lookout for a Part-Time Assistant Store Manager to help steer our dynamic team. In this role, you will work alongside the Store Manager to attain sales goals, recruit talented individuals, and nurture team development. WHAT YOU'LL DO Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales objectives and comparable sales targets. Support the recruitment, development, and retention of a passionate and collaborative team that effectively operates the store. Ignite excitement and engagement by promoting new products, leveraging social media, and offering convenient services like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Provide strong leadership to ensure operational excellence while balancing tasks, delegation, and a customer-first approach. Monitor shrinkage, loss prevention, payroll hours, and associate schedules to maintain store integrity. Communicate with retail leadership and headquarters to share insights on trends and customer feedback. Anayze sales reports to inform strategies for achieving sales targets. Visually merchandise the store in an appealing manner, following planograms and timely launching of promotions. Collaborate with your Store Manager to build a high-performing, customer-focused team of dedicated associates. WHAT YOU'LL NEED 1-2 years of retail management experience; a passion for music and pop culture is a plus! Proven ability in team leadership along with strong skills in communication, recruitment, operations, and team development. Excellent time management and professionalism skills, coupled with a motivation to grow your team. A high school diploma or GED; a degree is a bonus. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and adapt quickly to changes. Capability to navigate the store, merchandise products using store equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds.
