We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Assistant Store Manager who can help us lead the most vibrant store in the mall. You will work closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets, recruit talent, and foster team development. WHAT YOU'LL DO Collaborate with your Store Manager to meet and exceed sales goals. Assist in recruiting, developing, and retaining a passionate and effective team. Create excitement and customer engagement through the promotion of new products, social media initiatives, and services like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Lead the store's operations, maintaining a balance between operational tasks and customer-first selling practices. Monitor loss prevention, manage payroll hours, and oversee associate schedules. Communicate trends and customer feedback effectively to retail leadership and HQ partners. Analyze sales reports to develop strategies that achieve sales targets. Ensure effective merchandising of the store by following planograms and timely launching of promotions. Help develop a loyal, high-performing team focused on customer satisfaction in collaboration with your Store Manager. WHAT YOU'LL NEED 1-2 years of retail management experience; a passion for music and pop culture is a strong advantage! Demonstrated success in leading teams with skills in communication, recruitment, operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising), and team development. Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and operational task skills, with a commitment to team development. A high school diploma or GED; a degree is a bonus. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment and tackle unexpected challenges. Must be able to navigate the store, merchandise products with store equipment, and lift boxes up to 50 pounds.
