As the Part-Time Assistant Store Manager , you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager to achieve sales objectives, recruit talent, and develop a cohesive team. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Store Manager in reaching sales goals and objectives. Sales are important, and your contribution is key! Recruit, nurture, and retain a collaborative and enthusiastic team to enhance store operations. Be the biggest advocate for the store, generating excitement and engaging customers through product promotions and social media. Ensure smooth operations by maintaining a customer-first approach and balancing operations with delegation. Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll, and schedules to enhance store efficiency. Communicate effectively with retail leadership and HQ to provide insights on trends and customer feedback. Analyze sales reports and leverage data to formulate strategies that meet sales targets. Skillfully merchandise the store in an engaging manner according to planograms, ensuring timely promotions. Work closely with your Store Manager to develop a high-performing, customer-focused team. Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience in retail store management; a passion for music and pop culture is a plus. Proven track record of leading successful teams; you possess excellent skills in communication, recruiting, and operations. Strong time management, professionalism, and a commitment to team development. A high school diploma or GED is required; a higher degree is a bonus. Able to adapt to the fast-paced retail environment and handle new challenges. Physical capability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and handle boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
