Overview Part-Time Assistant Manager Level 1 at Hot Topic support the store leadership team to deliver an outstanding customer experience and help fans access the merchandise they love. Location: Lakewood, WA. What You'll Do Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return, leveraging product knowledge and customer service skills. Step in and step up when needed by covering the sales floor and providing leadership support when the Manager is unavailable. Open and close the store as needed. Operate the register and process sales transactions; drive add-on sales using benefits such as BOPIS and curbside pickup; communicate shortages or overages to the Store Manager. Understand the store sales plan, comp sales goals, and key KPIs: UPT and ADT. Assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix. Share fashion and music trend information with management and HQ partners. Support theft prevention and ensure proper handling of inventory and security concerns. Maintain the stock room organized and the store tidy. Help develop and retain a collaborative, passionate team to run the store. Perform other activities as assigned by the Store Leader.

What You'll Need At least 1 year of retail store experience. If you love music and pop culture, you're in the right place. Strong communication, time management, professionalism, operations, and a drive to develop your team. A high school diploma or GED equivalent. The usual retail tasks: navigate the store, merchandise products using approved store equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds.
