As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager Level 1, youll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, helping fans find their favorite merchandise. Youll use your knowledge of pop culture to train new team members and support daily operations and sales goals. What You'll Do Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty through product knowledge and customer service skills. Assist in managing the sales floor and support store leadership when needed. Open and close the store as required, handling cash register operations and sales transactions. Drive sales through suggestive selling and knowledge of store promotions like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Understand sales goals and key performance indicators such as UPT and ADT. Assist with visual merchandising and store layout updates. Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners. Maintain store organization and stockroom cleanliness. Support the development of a passionate and collaborative team. Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager. What You'll Need At least 1 year of retail experience, ideally with a passion for music and pop culture. Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills. High school diploma or GED. Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
