As a Full-Time Retail Store Associate, you will play a key role in creating an inviting shopping environment. Your responsibilities will include merchandising products, stocking shelves, operating the cash register, and ensuring that the store remains clean and visually appealing. You will have the opportunity to enhance customer experiences through collaboration with your ALDI team and by delivering outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full-Time Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $17.50 | Year 3 - $18.00 | Year 4 - $18.00 | Year 5 - $19.00 Duties and Responsibilities: Exemplify the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) in all tasks. Efficiently process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock products and displays. Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers throughout their shopping experience. Collaborate with team members and maintain clear communication with store management. Provide feedback on products, inventory discrepancies, scanning issues, and other operational matters. Participate in store inventory counts according to company guidelines and monitor inventory accuracy. Adhere to cash policies and procedures to help minimize losses. Comply with all company policies while ensuring the security and confidentiality of documents and data. Perform additional duties as assigned. Physical Demands: Capability to stock merchandise from receiving to shelving, lifting products weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store. Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Exceptional customer service skills. Proficiency in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently. Able to safely operate equipment such as electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler. Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards. Ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Comfortable working both independently and as a team member. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and multitask efficiently. Must meet local and state requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
