Position Type: Full-Time Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $19.50 | Year 3 - $20.00 | Year 4 - $20.00 | Year 5 - $21.00 Duties and Responsibilities: Consistently embody the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role. Efficiently process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves and merchandise displays. Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers in their experience. Collaborate effectively with team members and maintain open communication with store management. Provide valuable feedback to management regarding product performance, inventory discrepancies, scanning errors, and other concerns. Assist with inventory counts and ensure the accuracy of stock. Follow cash handling policies and procedures to reduce losses. Adhere to company policies while ensuring the confidentiality and security of documents and data. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Demands: Ability to stock merchandise between receiving and shelving; manage products weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights. Regularly engage in activities such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking throughout the store. Ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old to apply. Strong customer service skills with a prompt and courteous approach. Capable of operating a cash register with precision. Proficient in safely using equipment such as electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers.
