About the Role: As a Food Service Assistant Manager, you'll play a crucial role in our restaurant's success by supporting the Restaurant General Manager in maintaining high brand standards while inspiring your team. Your leadership will be key in training, coaching, and recognizing your team to provide exceptional customer experiences. When your team excels, you shine! In this vibrant position, you'll take charge of daily operations in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager, making important decisions and guiding the team toward excellence. This role offers a 50-hour workweek, with 40 hours at standard pay and 10 hours at an overtime rate, ensuring a balanced and rewarding work experience. Key Responsibilities: Promote consistent customer satisfaction by effectively implementing the KFC Connect Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs. Supervise Team Members to ensure compliance with shift duties and maintain high food safety standards, managing restaurant operations when the RGM is away. Work alongside the RGM to evaluate team performance, providing ongoing constructive feedback and promptly addressing employee relations issues or escalating them as necessary. Play a vital role in sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing new Team Members whilst fostering a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging. Act as a responsible owner by contributing to Profit & Loss management, including cash control, security measures, inventory oversight, and labor management. Analyze financial reports and implement actions to enhance performance. Assist the RGM with facility upkeep and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. Are You a Fit? Minimum of 2 years of restaurant or retail management experience. Aid in P&L management, following cash control and security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, and reviewing financial statements. Ensure all employees are adequately trained and provided with necessary resources. Champion KFC's core values, advocating for equity, inclusion, and belonging within the restaurant. Lead initiatives for individual and team recognition, fostering collaboration and motivation. Identify and recruit outstanding talent, assisting the RGM in the hiring process. Excellent communication skills for conducting performance evaluations, administering disciplinary actions, and motivating and training employees.
