We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse General Manager to join Americold Logistics, LLC. In this leadership role, you will oversee all warehouse operations, including transportation, personnel, and customer service, under the guidance of the Director of Operations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage the annual facility budget, ensuring adherence across all departments. Direct and assign tasks, set performance objectives, and monitor the performance of all warehouse functions. Manage all warehouse activities, including costs and operations, while tracking progress towards established goals. Promote a safe work environment through proactive measures, addressing safety concerns and seeking cost-saving opportunities. Ensure compliance with company policies and all Federal, State, and Local OSHA regulations. Serve as the company representative to warehouse customers, securing new business and maintaining positive relationships. Advocate for warehouse concerns at the corporate level and effectively communicate company objectives to staff. Implement strategies to prevent or minimize property, liability, or personnel loss exposures. Utilize Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP) in daily planning and complete monthly CIP reports. Support the Company Performance Management Program (PMP). Qualifications: College degree in business, logistics, or management, combined with 5-8 years of relevant experience in warehousing and/or logistics management. Experience in working with proteins or in a cold storage environment is highly preferred. Minimum of 3 years in a general supervisory or management role. What Sets You Apart: Experience in the produce industry. Proficiency with AS/400 and Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel. Familiarity with WMS and RF technologies. Able to interpret safety regulations, operational instructions, and procedural manuals. Physical Requirements: Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.
