In this key role, you will assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store management, including sales, operations, customer service, and employee management. Your expertise will be vital in recruiting, training, and supporting staff to achieve our ambitious sales and profit goals. Primary Responsibilities: Support the Store Manager in daily store operations. Assist in supervising, training, and guiding employees. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the various product lines and merchandise. Help recruit and onboard new staff members for the store. Assist in addressing employee concerns and fostering a positive workplace environment. Contribute to scheduling and assigning duties to employees. Support financial tracking and implementation to meet store goals. Aid in inventory management and auditing for operational efficiency. Participate in the assessment of staffing needs on a regular basis. Direct customer and employee inquiries to the appropriate channels. Ensure accurate employee timekeeping and address discrepancies promptly. Promote and adhere to corporate values, policies, and goals. Encourage employees to utilize the Employee Portal and resources. Engage in other projects and duties as needed. Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be necessary. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; college courses preferred. At least one year of customer service or retail experience. Minimum one year of experience in supervising or training retail operations. Proficiency with sales software programs and data reporting. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage confidential information discreetly. Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Team player with the ability to work independently as well. Consistent attendance with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
