Position Type: Part-Time Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $19.00 | Year 3 - $19.50 | Year 4 - $19.50 | Year 5 - $20.50 Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Cashier Responsibilities: Handle customer transactions, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves and merchandise Deliver excellent customer service to enhance the shopping experience Provide valuable feedback to management on products, inventory discrepancies, and overall issues Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy Follow cash handling policies to reduce losses Stock Associate Responsibilities: Efficiently stock shelves and ensure product rotation for freshness Implement merchandising guidelines for attractive product displays Organize new inventory and properly manage empty packaging Safely operate machinery in compliance with safety procedures Physical Demands: Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store Stock Associates must be able to lift merchandise up to 45 pounds and stock products at various heights Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age Strong customer service skills Ability to perform cleaning duties to meet company standards Ability to understand and apply company policies and procedures Excellent verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong time management skills Familiarity with company products and services Cashiers must accurately operate cash registers Cashiers must comply with local regulations for selling alcoholic beverages Stock Associates must have morning availability, with shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Retail experience preferred Combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge Equal Opportunity Employer: We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities and encourage all applicants to review their rights as outlined by federal employment laws.
