By supporting our store leadership team, you'll help create an engaging environment that allows fellow fans to discover and enjoy the merchandise they love. WHAT YOU'LL DO Deliver a fantastic shopping experience that keeps customers coming back, leveraging your product knowledge and customer service skills. Take initiative and provide leadership support when needed, stepping in to manage the sales floor. Open and close the store as required, ensuring smooth operations throughout the day. Process sales transactions at the register, utilizing your fandom expertise to encourage add-on sales through services like BOPIS and curbside pickup, while also managing register closures and addressing any discrepancies. Understand and track store sales goals, including comp sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) like Units Per Transaction (UPT) and Average Dollar Transaction (ADT). Assist with merchandise presentation, including store layout and display setup, ensuring an appealing shopping environment. Share valuable insights on current fashion and music trends with management and corporate partners. Work collaborate with management to prevent theft and maintain a secure shopping environment. Help maintain an organized stockroom and a tidy store to enhance the overall customer experience. Foster a supportive and collaborative team atmosphere, helping to train and develop new staff. Participate in any additional responsibilities as assigned by your Store Leader. WHAT YOU'LL NEED A minimum of 1 year of retail experience; a love for music and pop culture is a plus! Exceptional skills in communication, time management, and professionalism, paired with a passion for developing your team. A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to engage with the store environment, including moving merchandise and handling boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. Compensation: $14.50 - $16.70 per hour. Please note that the pay range starts as listed, but may vary based on factors such as education, location, and experience, which will determine the final salary for successful candidates.
