Proactively deny the sale of alcohol or tobacco to underage or intoxicated customers. Customer Excellence - 25% Deliver exceptional service by continuously attending to customer needs. Greet, assist, and thank customers promptly and courteously. Offer product recommendations to enhance customer experience. Operational Excellence - 25% Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness and effective date management. Efficiently restock supplies to minimize waste and maintain cost-effectiveness. Accurately and efficiently operate department equipment and cash registers, ensuring precise transactions. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by reporting any hazards or faulty equipment to management. Qualifications: Education: High School diploma or GED required. Language: English proficiency; bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Experience: 0-3 years of relevant experience; supervisory experience not required. Skills Required: Must be at least 21 years of age. TIPS Training required prior to the start date. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English comprehensively. Authorization to work in the United States, or ability to obtain the same. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check. High standard of integrity and reliability along with customer service skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and busy environment. Physical Requirements: This position involves standing or walking for extended periods, utilizing manual dexterity, and performing various tasks that may require lifting up to 50 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 250 lbs. The employee may work in indoor and outdoor conditions, which may include exposure to cold, heat, and humidity. Equipment: Must be knowledgeable in using general store equipment including registers, pricing guns, scales, and material handling equipment.
