We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced individual to join our dynamic legal team as a Permanent Workers Compensation. This role will be responsible for a variety of legal duties related to workers compensation, including but not limited to, managing claims, providing legal advice, and representing the company in legal proceedings. If you are passionate about the legal industry and have a strong background in tort, malpractice, liability, and workers compensation, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of workers compensation claims including investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution.
Provide legal advice and representation to the company in workers compensation matters.
Prepare and present cases before the Workers Compensation Board.
Develop and implement strategies to minimize the company's liability and costs associated with workers compensation claims.
Maintain comprehensive records of all workers compensation claims and legal proceedings.
Stay up-to-date with changes in workers compensation laws and regulations and ensure the company's compliance.
Collaborate with other legal team members and stakeholders to ensure a consistent approach to workers compensation issues.
Provide training and guidance to company staff on workers compensation matters.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
Must have a valid license to practice law.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal role with a focus on workers compensation.
Proven experience in tort, malpractice, and liability law.
Excellent knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations.
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple claims and legal proceedings simultaneously.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in legal research and writing.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
