We specialize in defending employers and third-party administrators against workers' compensation claims. Position Overview

We are looking for a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney with 5+ years of experience to handle a variety of workers' compensation cases. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on complex matters and provide strategic counsel to clients. We value the well-being of our attorneys and support staff. Responsibilities

Represent clients in workers' compensation defense cases, including claim investigations, hearings, and appeals. Advise employers and third-party administrators on workers' compensation law and claim management. Draft legal pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements. Conduct discovery, including depositions and subpoenas. Participate in case strategy meetings and collaborate with senior/partner attorneys to develop defense strategies. Manage a caseload of workers' compensation cases from inception to resolution. Represent clients at workers' compensation hearings and before the Workers' Compensation Commission.

Qualifications

Must be a member of the California Bar Association 5+ years of experience in workers' compensation law defense. Strong understanding of workers' compensation laws and regulations. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work independently. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
