FULL TIME ROLE NO C2C NO SPONSORSHIP Full Stack Application Developer - Our Client Our client is currently seeking a Full Stack Application Developer with deep expertise in Java , web technologies , and database systems . As a member of the Business Systems Development team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-grade systems that support trading operations, help desk functions, surveillance, clearing, business intelligence, finance, and other complex middle- and back-office processes. This is a hands-on development role in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong communication skills and a self-driven mindset are essential. Key Responsibilities Collaborate directly with business users across functional areas to analyze and assess system requirements Develop high-quality, performant, and feature-rich web applications that deliver robust operational capabilities for our client Define and implement back-end REST APIs to support service features Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests , and contribute to test case design with the team Location Princeton, NJ OR Remote Reporting Structure This role reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Business Systems Development ? Required Qualifications Expert-level proficiency in Core Java and JEE technologies Deep understanding of web application architecture and design principles Strong experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot , Spring MVC , and Spring WebFlux Proficient in front-end technologies: Angular , HTML5 , CSS , and JavaScript Solid background in database design and SQL Experience with Linux and shell scripting Familiarity with CI/CD practices Exposure to container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS , Azure , or Google Cloud is advantageous Knowledge of industry-standard architecture design methodologies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Education & Experience Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience building large-scale business applications using Java technologies Experience in the financial industry is a plus EOE Statement: Specialist Staffing Group is an equal opportunity employer.
