An opportunity is available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to provide specialized services in a dynamic educational environment within the San Francisco area. This contract position focuses exclusively on Pre-K intake assessments and covers FMLA leave at an elementary school site through June 3, 2026. Candidates must be available onsite and possess a strong commitment to supporting early childhood communication development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive Pre-K intake assessments to evaluate speech and language needs.
  • Provide coverage for an SLP on FMLA at an elementary school for the remainder of the school year.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA).
  • Possession of a Speech Services Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) preferred but not mandatory.
  • Candidates must not be Clinical Fellows (CFs) as this is not a training position.
  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or bilingual abilities are strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience working within school settings, especially with pre-kindergarten populations.

Location:

  • Onsite position in the San Francisco, CA area; remote or voiceover work will not be considered.
