Senior Manager, Product Manager, Small Business Bank Data Modernization Capital One's Small Business Bank Data Modernization team is building a data destination of platforms, products, and processes that is well-managed and easy to govern, and where data is easy to find, understand, and use to enable real-time intelligent experiences. The Senior Manager, Product Manager for the Small Business Bank Data Modernization team plays a critical people leadership role in achieving our goals. This individual will lead and mentor a team of product managers in building our universe of data products covering our most used data for our data consumers; analysts, engineers, data scientists, product managers, and business partners. This role is crucial for transforming the data experience for all of our customer personas across Small Business Bank and will play a leading role in shaping local and partner roadmaps as we define shared capabilities that can be scaled across our line of business, and Enterprise. In this role, you'll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas which we consider to be the foundation for successful Product management: Human Centered Business Focused Technology Driven Integrated Problem Solving Transformational Leadership Basic Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management At least 2 years of experience leading and managing a team of product managers Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field A Master's Degree in a quantitative field An MBA with a quantitative concentration Preferred Qualifications: Experience translating business and/or data strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products Deep understanding of data management principles, data governance frameworks, and data lifecycle management Experience with large-scale data platforms, data warehousing, data lakes, or real-time data streaming technologies Proven ability to define and drive multi-year product roadmaps Experience collaborating with product managers, data analysts, data scientists, and data engineers as both data producers, and consumers Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $193,000 - $220,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management New York, NY: $210,500 - $240,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management Richmond, VA: $175,500 - $200,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
