As a Stockroom Associate, you play an essential role in our store's operations, ensuring we can meet our commitment to every customer with seamless efficiency. What You'll Do: Freight and Inventory Management: Unload, sort, and process freight shipments efficiently. Your role is vital in managing the flow of merchandise from delivery to the stockroom and sales floor, ensuring everything is organized and accounted for. Customer Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders, including online purchases for in-store pickup. Your speed and accuracy create a positive impact on the customer experience. Stockroom Operations: Keep a clean, safe, and well-organized stockroom. This includes replenishing merchandise on the sales floor and ensuring the store team can easily locate products. Support the Sales Team: Collaborate with your team to maintain product availability and communicate new arrivals and stock levels, empowering them to offer effective service. Uphold Standards: Follow all company policies related to safety, merchandising, and cleanliness. Take pride in maintaining our operational standards each day. Assist as Needed: Take on other duties as directed by management to ensure the overall success of the store. What We're Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent. Retail experience preferred, but not required. Customer-focused mindset. Pride in delivering quality work and ownership of responsibilities. Integrity and trustworthiness. Strong communication and listening skills. A collaborative team player. Willingness to perform diverse tasks as directed. Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Environmental Factors: Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day. Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting motions. Regular use of repetitive hand and finger motions. Frequently lifting up to twenty pounds, occasionally up to 40 pounds, and pushing/pulling up to 20 pounds. Capability to climb ladders and reach as necessary. Work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees, especially in stockroom areas. Utilize a computer for up to 60% of the workday.
