As a Stockroom Associate, you play a vital role in ensuring our store runs smoothly, allowing us to deliver on our promise to every valued customer. This position requires availability during specific hours before the store opens and after it closes. Your Role Will Include: Freight and Inventory Management: Ensure efficient unloading, sorting, and processing of freight shipments. You will manage the transition of merchandise from the truck to the stockroom and the sales floor, keeping everything organized and accounted for. Customer Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders, including online purchases for in-store pick up and shipping directly from our store. Your efficiency and accuracy will enhance the customer experience. Stockroom Operations: Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized stockroom. Replenish merchandise on the sales floor, ensuring that our team can effortlessly locate products. Support the Sales Team: Work collaboratively with sales associates to keep products available and shared insights about new arrivals and stock levels, empowering them to provide exceptional service. Uphold Standards: Adhere to company policies for safety, merchandising, and cleanliness, and take pride in maintaining operational standards every day. Assist as Needed: Contribute to the overall success of the store by performing other duties as directed by management. What We're Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent. Retail experience is a plus, but not required. Customer-centric mindset. Pride in a job well done and ownership of your responsibilities. Integrity and trustworthiness. Strong communication and listening skills. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Willingness to perform additional tasks as needed. Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day. Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting. Repetitive hand-to-finger motions and use of arms required. Ability to lift up to twenty pounds frequently and up to forty pounds occasionally, along with pushing/pulling up to twenty pounds. Climbing ladders and reaching up high is necessary. Work in various temperatures, ranging from 50 to 85 degrees, primarily in stockroom areas. Use of a computer for up to 60% of the workday.
