Position: Assistant Store Manager, Retail $19.57 per hour

Full-Time / Benefited - DOE/DOQ

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 2 years retail management/supervisory experience.

Ability to operate POS/Cash Register and supervise store staff.

Valid Driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.

Effective communication skills with management, staff, customers, and donors.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist.

Ability to grasp, push, pull objects up to 50 lbs.

Operate a telephone.

Perform repetitive motions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist the Store Manager in daily operations.

Take responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager.

Coach, train, and develop store employees.

Maintain excellent customer, donor, and community relations.

Coordinate shift change meetings in the absence of the Store Manager.

Supervise staff to ensure compliance with policies and guidelines.

Train new personnel on store policies and procedures.

Additional Involvement Includes merchandising, personnel issues, time and attendance, and employee training.
