As a Retail Pharmacy Associate at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and enhancing the customer experience in accordance with state and federal regulations. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting the pharmacist with various pharmacy tasks and maintaining compliance with company policies. Utilizing pharmacy systems to access patient and drug information to process prescriptions efficiently. Providing exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their needs. Coaching fellow pharmacy technicians and cashiers in operational procedures as needed. Building strong relationships with customers to ensure a positive shopping experience. Assisting with prescription preparation by accurately retrieving, counting, and distributing medications, while ensuring their safety and proper interaction checks. Handling customer inquiries and phone calls that do not require a pharmacist's immediate attention. Contributing to inventory management processes, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals. Maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment. Completing all required training and earning PTCB or ExCPT certification to enhance your skills and advance your career. This position is located at 49 Kellogg Rd, New Hartford, NY, 13413. We are looking for candidates who are flexible with their work schedule, including evening and weekend availability.
