We especially encourage military veterans to apply. Job Description Pilot Flying J seeks a dynamic Retail Operations Assistant Manager to oversee our bustling retail facilities. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and executing business plans for the travel center and restaurant operations to meet sales, profit, and customer satisfaction targets. The Retail Operations Assistant Manager will also: Ensure that customer expectations are consistently met Lead engaging meetings with team members Maintain productive vendor relationships Your responsibilities will include building, coaching, managing, and developing high-performing teams, as well as staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training. Additional duties for the Retail Operations Assistant Manager include: Driving sales initiatives Managing team performance Monitoring inventory levels Delivering exceptional customer service Conducting P&L analysis Compensation Starting pay ranges from $44,100 to $63,900 per year. Qualifications The ideal candidate must demonstrate integrity and accountability, along with excellent leadership skills. A flexible schedule is essential, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
