We especially encourage military candidates to apply. Job Description Pilot Flying J is looking for an experienced Retail Operations Assistant Manager to oversee our busy retail facilities. You will be instrumental in crafting and executing business plans to meet sales and profit targets while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. The Retail Operations Assistant Manager will also be responsible for: Meeting and exceeding customer expectations Leading meetings with team members Maintaining strong relationships with vendors In this role, you will mentor, guide, and develop your team through effective hiring, training, and team management practices. Additional responsibilities include: Driving sales growth Managing team performance Tracking and controlling inventory Delivering outstanding customer service Conducting P&L analysis Compensation starts between $77,968.80 - $92,700.00 per year, in addition to a short-term monthly incentive opportunity. Qualifications We are looking for a Retail Operations Assistant Manager who demonstrates integrity and accountability. You should also possess strong leadership skills and be available for a flexible schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Key qualifications include: 2-3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, grocery, or service industry with responsibility for financial results Proven management experience in high-volume retail with P&L accountability Ability to foster a customer-focused culture Additional Information
