GENERAL SUMMARY & SCOPE: As the Retail General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading your team to consistently achieve sales growth and deliver exceptional service in our stores. You will oversee all store operations, including our salon services, fostering a high-performing team dedicated to performance, people development, and abiding by standard operating procedures. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Performance: Foster an accountable environment to meet or exceed sales targets and guest satisfaction goals. Enhance company profitability through effective management and process improvement. Utilize sales forecasts and payroll budgets for efficient scheduling and productivity maximization. Address and resolve financial and operational issues to achieve store goals. Engage with guests through product demonstrations to enrich their in-store experience. Stay informed about industry trends to provide knowledgeable assistance to customers. Maintain punctuality and uphold attendance standards within the team. People: Recruit, hire, and retain diverse, high-performing staff to meet store needs. Address any disciplinary matters with fairness and according to company procedures. Build a cohesive team through effective communication and prioritization. Create an inclusive atmosphere that fosters growth and engagement. Lead development initiatives through training, feedback, and succession planning. Promote continuous learning and professional development. Encourage your direct reports to pursue ongoing training. Communicate enterprise strategies to align team goals with company objectives. Cultivate teamwork and establish clear priorities. Implement the Guest Engagement Leader program to enhance customer experiences and achieve performance metrics. Process: Ensure compliance with all company policies and standards. Adhere to the store's dress code and operational guidelines. Utilize scheduling tools to optimize staffing and enhance guest services. Manage store tasks efficiently to ensure all workload is completed. Minimize loss through stringent adherence to safety and operational procedures. Oversee inventory control processes and document any discrepancies. Encourage adoption of new initiatives and technologies for continuous improvement. Communicate regularly with leadership regarding store performance, challenges, and opportunities. JOB QUALIFICATION: Education: Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in retail management or related fields. Proven experience driving sales and managing budgets effectively. Demonstrated success in inventory management and operational excellence. Strong leadership skills in talent development and fostering collaboration. Skills: Proficient in technology (e.g., Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office). Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to collaborate effectively. Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple responsibilities. Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances. SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Must be available for a full-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to close the store at least once per week. Participate in corporate meetings, requiring possible travel. Maintain valid identification for air travel. WORKING CONDITIONS: Frequent computer and telephonic use. Continual mobility throughout the store during shifts. Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting related to retail tasks. Carrying or moving items up to 25 lbs. as needed. Ongoing walking and coordination activities during shifts. PAY RANGE: The pay range for this position is $83,200.00 - $112,320.00 per year, with the opportunity for additional compensation under the Company's bonus program.
