Service Technician is primarily responsible for the repair of case goods, leather and upholstery furniture. Completing minor furniture repair on all types of product damage, including handling or damage that may occur with furniture purchased in customers’ homes. \n Responsibilities: \n \n Maintains a high level of professionalism and customer service with both internal and external customers, on the phone and in person. \n Performs in-home furniture repairs. The goal is 85% completion. \n Accurately report situations that occur when repairs cannot be completed. \n Must be able to assess damages to determine cause. For example, Driver, Mfg., Customer abuse. \n Must maintain safe driving record. \n Must maintain clean and stocked service vehicle and records. \n Must be able to use digital camera, \n Possess good communication skills written and orally. \n Report on mechanical condition of service vehicle daily. \n Respect customer’s property and prevent in home damage due to own actions. \n Is able to burn in small scratches, repairs cracks and splits on edges, repairs small leather/vinyl defects utilizing heat cure, adds graining on edge piece repairs, blend colors and sheen in small areas. \n Performs simple replacement part repairs. \n Tracks and monitors replacement parts. \n Maintains proper safety usage of all products that are used within customers’ homes \n \n \n Driver's License (Required) \n \n

Job Qualifications \n Education: \n \n High School, Diploma or equivalent \n \n Experience: \n \n 2-3 Years experience. \n \n \n \n Knowledge, Skills and Abilities \n \n Strong attention to detail \n Work independently as well as in a team environment \n Document management system \n Analytical and problem-solving skills \n Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement \n Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints \n Perform under strong demands in a fast-paced environment \n Work professionally with customers and co-workers to efficiently serve our customers, treating both with enthusiasm and respect \n Respond professionally in situations with difficult
