Your responsibilities will include: Supporting day-to-day store activities to ensure smooth operations Engaging with customers in a positive and approachable manner, addressing their questions and concerns Organizing and transferring merchandise from trucks to our stockroom and sales floor, ensuring seasonal displays are well-maintained Executing opening and closing procedures efficiently Processing corporate directives, including inventory management and compliance tasks Maintaining attractive and effective promotional displays Assisting in inventory management, record keeping, and loss prevention efforts Ensuring a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards Safeguarding all company assets, including cash and inventory Upholding company policies and safety guidelines, ensuring adherence among all associates Supporting the Store Manager in training and developing store associates Fostering a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional interactions with customers and team members Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms, floors, and all public areas Performing additional duties as required Skills and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives required Preferred experience in retail management within a grocery or pharmacy setting Physical requirements include lifting up to 55 lbs, frequent walking, standing, kneeling, and reaching. You will need strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with exceptional customer service abilities. A knack for problem-solving and decision-making is essential for success in this role.
