Join our team as a Retail Assistant Manager, where you will play a vital role in enhancing store operations, providing exceptional customer service, and fostering team development. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting daily store operations and activities. Engaging positively with customers, addressing their questions and concerns. Coordinating merchandise organization and transfers from delivery to the sales floor. Performing opening and closing duties as required. Processing corporate directives related to store activities. Maintaining effective store displays and promotional areas. Assisting with ordering, processing damaged items, and maintaining accurate records. Ensuring a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to meet company standards. Safeguarding company assets, including cash and inventory. Upholding safety and operational policies and ensuring team compliance. Helping to train and develop store associates alongside the Store Manager. Creating a safe, positive, and respectful environment while interacting professionally with customers and team members. Ensuring cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and common areas. Performing other related duties as assigned. Skills and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and interpret operational directives is necessary. Prior experience in retail or store management preferred. The role requires lifting up to 55 lbs, along with frequent walking, standing, and physical activity. You must possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, along with the ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment.
