Join Our Team as a Retail Assistant Manager! We are looking for a motivated Retail Assistant Manager to support our store operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and foster team development. In this role, you will engage with customers, organize merchandise, and ensure that our store is a welcoming place for everyone. Here are some key responsibilities you will undertake: Assist with the day-to-day operations of the store Provide a positive and approachable experience for customers, addressing any questions or concerns Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery trucks to the stockroom and sales floor as necessary, ensuring seasonal displays are well-kept Execute opening and closing procedures efficiently Process and implement corporate directives and store communications effectively Maintain attractive and effective promotional displays Support ordering merchandise, handling damaged goods, and maintaining accurate records including payroll and scheduling Help maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom according to company standards Ensure the safety and security of company assets, including cash Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and ensure all associates do the same Assist the Store Manager in training and developing team members Promote a positive, safe, and respectful environment for all Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and common areas Other duties as assigned Skills and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. You should have the ability to read and interpret operational guidelines and possess prior experience in retail or a related environment. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 55 lbs and carry out frequent walking, standing, and other physical tasks. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential.
