In this role, you will: Support daily store functions and assist in all aspects of store activities. Engage positively with customers, addressing their questions and concerns effectively. Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor, ensuring seasonal displays are attractive and well-maintained. Handle opening and closing procedures, ensuring everything is in order. Process corporation directives including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information requests. Ensure promotional displays are effective and engaging. Assist in ordering and processing merchandise, including managing damaged items and record keeping for payroll, scheduling, and cash management. Maintain store cleanliness and organization, keeping sales floor and stockroom stocked and tidy. Protect company assets, including cash handling with utmost security. Comply with company policies and safety guidelines while fostering a respectful work environment. Support the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates. Experience in retail management, grocery, or drug store environments. To succeed in this role, you should be able to: Lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and climbing. Communicate effectively and build rapport with customers and team members. Work collaboratively in a high-energy team environment. Exhibit exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
