Overview: As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will take charge of the store's operations and staff in the absence of the Store Manager, playing a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities: Support the Store Manager in maintaining a clean and organized store environment, both on the sales floor and in the stockroom. Assist in effective setup and management of sales promotions. Oversee register functions and ensure compliance with store procedures. Implement visual merchandising standards and ensure timely execution of floor sets. Engage with customers to understand their merchandise needs and enhance their shopping experience. Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure accurate markdowns and transfers. Drive sales and profitability by achieving store and individual goals. Assist in communicating operational goals to optimize team contributions. Evaluate individual performance metrics to ensure team success. Train associates in cash register procedures and other operational functions. Ensure the security of company funds as per policy. Key Partners: Store Management Human Resources District Manager Asset Protection Qualifications: Aged 18 or older. Minimum of 2 years' experience in retail leadership preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus. Able to respond to store alarm problems. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Results-oriented with a strong drive for success.
