Key Responsibilities: Assist in daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, addressing any questions or concerns. Help organize merchandise transfers from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas of the store. Conduct opening and closing procedures effectively. Process corporate directives related to store activities and maintain effective communication. Ensure promotional displays and store-front fixtures are effective and well-maintained. Assist in the ordering and record keeping of merchandise, including payroll, scheduling, and cash handling. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and stockroom according to company standards. Protect and secure company assets, including cash within the store. Enforce company policies and safety guidelines; ensure all associates adhere to protocols. Support the Store Manager in training, supervising, and developing store associates. Contribute to a positive, safe, and respectful work environment for customers and team members. Keep the store clean and presentable, including restocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness in all areas. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; strong ability to interpret operational directives is essential. Previous experience in retail or a similar environment is preferred. Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and meet physical demands such as frequent walking, standing, and lifting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a high-energy, team-oriented environment. Exceptional customer service and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
