Expected salary range is $117,900 to $131,000 based on experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package including a bonus and 401(k).
LOCATION: Calvert Cliffs, Lusby, Maryland. * We are hiring in late 2025 for classes starting in January 2026. *

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
During initial license training, total compensation ranging from $159,000 to $182,000 annually, based on experience and past license status, which includes a 15% annual incentive bonus.
After obtaining your Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license, the compensation increases to approximately $191,000 annually.

Job Summary:
As an Initial License Trainee (ILT), you'll undergo intensive training through classroom instruction, simulator training, and hands-on experience to achieve qualifications as a Senior Reactor Operator. You will be responsible for all reactor control room operations upon successful completion and gaining your NRC License.
Responsibilities:
Authorize maintenance and testing activities to ensure equipment integrity.
Implement emergency procedures and direct stabilization steps during abnormal conditions.
Evaluate and respond to issues and requests from both internal and external sources.
Oversee special projects as assigned by Operations leadership.
Review and update Emergency Operating Procedures.
Conduct operability reviews and ensure system readiness for refueling operations.
Train and guide operating shift personnel while coordinating plant operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Passing scores on the Plant Operator Selection System (POSS) and Basic Math and Science Test (BMST).
Successful completion of the FLS Leadership Assessment.
One of the following qualifications:
1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a non-comparable facility.
1.5 years in a reactor operator position in the military.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or physical sciences and relevant experience in operations or management roles.
