Constellation provides competitive salary and benefits:
Compensation during initial license training ranges from $159,000 to $182,000 per year, based on experience and previous license status, including a 15% incentive bonus. A sign-on bonus and milestone bonuses amounting to $10,000 throughout training are also included, along with a comprehensive benefits package and a 401(k) with employer matching.
After licensing, total compensation can be as high as $191,000 per year, including a 15% annual incentive bonus and eligibility for extended hours pay at 1.5 times the base salary for mandated shift coverage.

Job Summary during Training for NRC License
The Initial License Trainee will participate in a blend of classroom instruction, simulator training, and practical experience, acquiring essential skills and knowledge to qualify for a Senior Reactor Operator License. After successfully completing the program, the candidate will be licensed by the NRC to oversee reactor control room operations.
Complete fundamental training phases, simulator certification, and obtain SRO status and NRC SRO License (80%).
Dedicate study and field time to attaining licensed status (10%).
Engage in project work, outage assignments, and other tasks supporting site operations (10%).
Job Summary
The Reactor Operations Supervisor will oversee operations at Constellation's Nuclear Power Generating Station, directing Reactor Operators and Equipment Operators in plant operations, procedures, and tagging processes.
Job Responsibilities
Authorize maintenance and testing activities to ensure equipment status is maintained.
Implement Emergency Operating procedures and direct required actions to stabilize the plant during emergency or abnormal situations.
Evaluate and respond to issues, findings, and requests from internal and external sources.
Oversee special projects identified by the Operations Director or Managers.
Create, revise, and review Emergency and Abnormal Operating Procedures to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
Review design and license changes for procedural impacts, perform 10CFR50.59 applicability reviews, and support outages and special projects.
Review system documentation, such as P&ID and design descriptions.
Conduct operability assessments for systems in off-normal conditions.
Assist in developing refueling sequences and ensure systems accommodate shutdown and refueling operations.
Direct operating shift personnel in plant duties, including standing watch on rotating 12-hour shifts and managing the operation of nuclear plant systems. Shift work, ongoing training, and maintaining qualifications as part of the plant Fire Brigade are all part of this role.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Successfully pass preliminary tests including the Plant Operator Selection System (POSS) and Basic Math and Science Test (BMST).
Complete FLS Leadership Assessment successfully.
Meet one of the following experience criteria:
1 year of Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a non-comparable facility.
1.5 years of equivalent Reactor Operator (or Supervisor) experience at a military reactor.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or physical sciences, or licensed professional engineering, along with over 1.5 years in a qualified non-licensed operator or supervisory role in a related field, with specific criteria for non-comparable facilities.
