Description Summary:   This position provides supervision to the Eviction Protection Grant Program (EPGP) and provides reporting and limited direct case management services to the clients who seek EPGP services. Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 this is the annual salary for an exempt position.  Responsibilities: .       Supervises the non-attorney staff of the EPGP eviction prevention effort. .     Serves as liaison between the supervising attorney and the EPGP staff. .       As needed, assists clients in housing court and serves as representative of CCCS Preserving             Housing program to court-based personnel. .       Coordinates all client referral efforts with the HRA Homelessness Diversion Unit or any other   HRA-designated department. .       Provides eviction-prevention advice to clients. Ensures the maintenance of current and accurate documentation of services provided to clients,         pursuant to EPGP requirements. Prepares EPGP narrative and quantitative reporting required during and at the end of the   performance period, including significant project benchmarks and deliverables; quarterly narrative   on activities and obstacles; quantitative summary of clients serviced, services provided, and   outcomes; client-level data for closed cases; significant products developed; and other required   financial reports. Processes rental arrears grants by obtaining supporting eligibility documentation. Provides limited   short-term case management and focuses on assessing factors precipitating housing crisis.   Develops and implements preventative measures to reduce risk of eviction in the immediate future. Communicates directly to the Supervising Attorney and Department Director all matters related to   the efficient provision of eviction prevention services. Other duties as assigned. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally 9:00 AM to 5 PM Monday - Friday. Additional hours may be required to meet program deadlines, or client needs. Working conditions and physical demands  required : The demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. To conduct home visits and outreach within NYC at least 50% of the time, individuals will use public transportation or traverse city streets, occasionally ascend/descend stairs, and be exposed to outside weather conditions. Ability to work with the public. Ability to position boxes/items at different levels that weigh up to 25 lbs. Remain stationary at a work station and use a computer at least 50% of the time. Potential to carry a laptop to offsite work locations. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree required and at least two years’ experience in the social services field. Skills, Licenses, and/or competencies required: Bilingual, English/Spanish, a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills, knowledge of social service delivery systems, and knowledge of  City resources. Good organizational, time-management and communication skills. Individual must possess the ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
