Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Mental Health Therapist (LCSW or LPCMH) to join our growing team. This position is clinic-based but offers exciting opportunities to:

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns in pediatric clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's specific goals and needs.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral challenges, trauma, and other emotional concerns.
  • Develop and facilitate specialized group therapy programs for children, teens, and families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to care.
  • Provide family counseling, coaching, and education to empower caregivers and improve family dynamics.
  • Participate in and contribute to community outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness and provide support to families in need.
  • Engage in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in pediatric mental health care.
  • Mentor and support fellow team members, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Qualifications:

For Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW):

  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as an LCSW in Delaware.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.

For Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCMH) or Equivalent:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited program.
  • Current Delaware state licensure as an LPCMH, LPC, or equivalent.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.

Additional Skills for All Roles:

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based mental health interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
