IMMEDIATE OPENING: Medical Receptionist / Practice Support Associate Join One of the Largest & Most Respected Healthcare Systems on Long Island We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist / Practice Support Associate to join a fastpaced, patientfocused medical practice. Lake Success, NY $24/hr Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years of healthcare administration experience * Proficiency with EMR systems * Strong Microsoft Office skills * Experience with patient checkin, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling * Excellent communication and customer service abilities Key Responsibilities:
* Greet patients, answer phones, and schedule appointments * Provide administrative support to physicians and practice management * Manage and maintain patient records * Scan insurance cards, referral forms, progress notes, and other documentation into the EMR * Handle insurance verifications, referrals, and authorizations * Retrieve procedure and exam authorizations as needed * Maintain and update all information in the EMR database * Support billing functions and general office workflow *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Success, NY. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
