Part-Time Retail Team Leader Join Office Depot Inc. as a Retail Team Leader, a rewarding part-time role that allows you to provide outstanding solutions across products, technology, services, furniture, and print offerings. As a part-time 'Key Carrier,' you will also take on Leader on Duty functions when necessary, which may include opening and closing the store. Additionally, the position may require consent to periodic comprehensive background checks conducted by a third party. Key Responsibilities: Print Sales and Services: Support the print function to drive store sales while ensuring efficient operations. Assist associates with equipment in the print services area to guarantee timely completion of client orders. Utilize communication tools effectively to request assistance and coordinate customer service.
Operational Efficiency: Process merchandise accurately and follow established procedures for visual merchandising. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. Ensure compliance with company policies and support loss prevention efforts. Contribute to sales growth and customer satisfaction initiatives.
Client Engagement: Foster high levels of client satisfaction through coaching and training of team members. Support community outreach initiatives to retain customers. Continuously develop your selling and product knowledge skills.
External Key Carrier and Leader on Duty: Ensure the safety and security of the store and associates during management absence. Support regular loss prevention compliance with team members. Perform opening and closing store responsibilities, including alarm system management. Assist with cash handling and related audits as necessary.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 1-3 years of related experience required. Sales or customer service background desired. Proficient computer skills for job-related tasks. Experience in customer service and print services is a plus. Strong interpersonal, communication, and selling skills are essential. Ability to adapt to a changing environment and assist others professionally. Attention to detail with a focus on quality production.
