About the Role As a Part-Time Retail Sales Representative, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing point of sale processes. Your focus will be on delivering speedy service and creating an inviting shopping experience for customers. What You'll Do Engage customers warmly, offering assistance with products and services while operating a cash register and managing transactions. Execute point of sale and customer service standards accurately and efficiently, ensuring a friendly and fast experience for shoppers. Aim to meet or exceed personal sales goals, including credit and loyalty program enrollments. Contribute to inventory accuracy through diligent completion of point of sale and merchandise handling practices. Assist in training new hires on customer service best practices and point of sale procedures, ensuring adherence to Kohl's brand standards. Participate in daily operations, including managing register balances, cash handling, and replenishing supplies. What Skills You Have Required Outstanding customer service abilities with great attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. No prior retail experience necessary. Must be at least 16 years old. Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Experience in retail or the service industry. Physical Requirements Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently and more than 50 lbs. occasionally with assistance. Able to perform a range of physical activities including climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods. Ability to visually inspect merchandise and ensure workplace safety compliance.
