About the Role In this exciting position, you will provide outstanding customer service during point of sale and customer support processes while emphasizing operational efficiency and consistency. You'll be focused on delivering speedy service transactions while contributing to an engaging customer experience. What You'll Do - Engage customers warmly by greeting them and assisting with their product and service needs. - Operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and manage various payment methods accurately. - Maintain point of sale and customer service standards in line with company guidelines, ensuring friendly and fast service. - Strive to meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty programs). - Support inventory accuracy through meticulous execution of point of sale and merchandise handling practices. - Aid in training new team members on service standards, best practices, and point of sale procedures. - Participate in daily operational tasks, including register and cash balancing, managing change orders, and replenishing supplies. What Skills You Have - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to multitask and pay attention to detail. - Strong verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills. - No previous retail experience is required. - Must be at least 16 years of age. - Availability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred: Client-facing retail or service industry experience.
